Purchase and Installation of RapidStart Apps
Follow these steps to purchase and install any RapidStart App from Microsoft Marketplace into your Microsoft Dataverse environment.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- A Microsoft 365 or Dynamics 365 subscription that includes Dataverse.
- A Dataverse environment (Production or Sandbox) already created.
- Power Platform Administrator or System Administrator rights in that environment.
- A valid payment method if purchasing a paid app.
Step 1: Find the App on AppSource
Go to Microsoft Marketplace and search for the RapidStart app you want to install (e.g., "RapidStart CRM"). Click the listing to open it.

Step 2: Initiate the Purchase
Click Get it now on the AppSource listing. If the app has a free tier or trial, you may be taken directly to the installation screen. For paid apps, you will be prompted to select a plan.


- Select the plan that fits your needs.
- Click Next to proceed to checkout.
- Complete the purchase and return to the installation screen.
Step 3: Select Your Environment
After purchase, you will be redirected to the Power Platform installation page.

- Select the Dataverse environment where you want to install the app.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Click Install.
Step 4: Monitor the Installation
The installation will begin. This can take several minutes.



- Periodically click Refresh to check the status.
- Wait until the status shows Installed.
Step 5: Assign Security Roles
Once installed, you need to assign the appropriate RapidStart security roles to your users.

- Go to the Power Platform Admin Center.
- Select your environment and navigate to Users.
- Assign the RapidStart Basic User role (at minimum) to each user who needs access.
🎉 Installation Complete!
Your RapidStart app is now installed and ready to use. Open the app from the Power Apps app selector or from make.powerapps.com.
