RapidClaw Overview and Product Family
RapidClaw is a customer-owned, Azure-hosted operating environment for OpenClaw. One shared foundation powers three separately deployable RapidClaw products.
What RapidClaw provides
OpenClaw is the agent runtime. RapidClaw adds the Microsoft-aware product layer around it: guided Azure deployment, Microsoft identity, models, connectors, Arcy, Command Center, Microsoft Teams, email, approvals, audit, usage and cost visibility, backup, recovery, and managed operations. The runtime is deployed into resources owned by your organization in your Azure subscription.
One foundation, three products
RapidClaw for OpenClaw is both a standalone product and the shared Base used by the RapidStart Apps and Business Central products. The extension products add only their application-specific connectors, agents, skills, policies, context, and licensing rules.
Choose the product that matches your environment
| Product | Best fit | What it adds |
|---|---|---|
| RapidClaw for OpenClaw | Organizations that want the shared RapidClaw operating environment without an automatic Business Central or RapidStart Apps binding. | RapidClaw Base, Microsoft Graph, governed optional connectors, RapidClaw, Arcy, Command Center, Teams, email, models, safety, and operations. |
| RapidClaw for RapidStart Apps | Organizations using RapidStart CRM, RapidStart Project, or RapidStart Field Service in Dataverse. | The shared Base plus governed Dataverse access and only the Agent Packs matching the installed RapidStart Apps. |
| RapidClaw for Business Central | Organizations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. | The shared Base plus the official Microsoft Business Central MCP connection, Business Central context, and seeded finance and operations agents. |
Capabilities shared by every RapidClaw product
- A six-stage deployment wizard that provisions the customer-owned Azure foundation and installs the verified OpenClaw extended-stable runtime.
- RapidClaw as the operating orchestrator and Arcy as the administrator, builder, and diagnostic assistant.
- Command Center for agents, skills, connectors, schedules, models, approvals, policies, activity, costs, Teams, email, backup, and recovery.
- Microsoft Graph as a foundation connector, with Business Central, Dataverse, and custom MCP connectors governed through the connector catalog.
- Deny-by-default tool access, explicit review of discovered tools, protected credentials, approval-controlled sensitive actions, audit, and Emergency Stop.
- A tenant-specific Microsoft Teams app and optional agent mailboxes created and managed through Command Center.
- Customer-owned Azure resources, model consumption, data boundaries, identity configuration, and secrets.
Product profiles do not convert in place
The selected product profile is fixed for that deployment. Adding the optional Business Central or Dataverse connector to RapidClaw for OpenClaw does not convert the deployment into RapidClaw for Business Central or RapidClaw for RapidStart Apps. The extension products include their own product context, seeded assets, Teams identity, entitlement, and lifecycle rules.
Choose before deploying
If you already know the deployment is for RapidStart Apps or Business Central, begin with that product. Use RapidClaw for OpenClaw when you want the standalone Base composition and will configure any optional business-system connectors yourself.
Licensing and cloud costs
- RapidClaw for OpenClaw uses a monthly product subscription and currently includes the first month free through the approved checkout promotion.
- RapidClaw for RapidStart Apps is included with the applicable RapidStart Apps deployment and has no separate RapidClaw runtime subscription gate.
- RapidClaw for Business Central is included for sandbox environments; production Business Central environments require an annual entitlement.
- Azure infrastructure and model-token consumption are billed separately through the customer's Azure subscription or configured model provider.
- Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Agents licenses are not required. RapidClaw can operate independently or alongside those products.
