RapidClaw for Business Central
RapidClaw for Business Central adds Business Central context, its official Microsoft MCP connection, and a seeded finance and operations workspace to the shared RapidClaw foundation.
RapidClaw Base is included
The Business Central product inherits the shared wizard, customer-owned Azure deployment, OpenClaw runtime, Arcy, Command Center, Graph, Teams, email, models, connectors, approvals, costs, backup, recovery, and safety controls. The BC layer adds only its product-specific context and capabilities.
How setup begins
Install the signed RapidClaw extension from Microsoft Marketplace in Business Central and launch Setup from the intended environment and company. The extension is a thin context and launch surface; it does not contain another OpenClaw runtime or Command Center.
- The launch identifies the Microsoft Entra tenant, Business Central environment and type, selected company, Azure region, and relevant Business Central application context.
- The shared hosted wizard creates or recovers the customer-owned application registration and establishes Azure access.
- Business Central delegated authorization is completed for the generated customer application.
- The Business Central environment type determines the product entitlement rule.
Official Business Central MCP connection
The Business Central connector is required and automatically configured for this product. It uses Microsoft's official Business Central MCP endpoint with delegated OAuth authorization and the selected tenant, environment, company, and configuration context. A readiness probe verifies authorization and discovered tools before the connector is reported ready.
Read-first by design
Installing RapidClaw for Business Central does not authorize autonomous posting, shipping, invoicing, payment, or master-data changes. Broad reads may be permitted within the connected environment, while financial writes, external messages, and data-cleanup changes require approval. Posting operations remain blocked by default.
Seeded Business Central agents
- Cash Flow Watcher
- Collections Assistant
- Customer Credit Analyst
- Invoice Researcher
- Payment Reconciliation Scout
- Finance Briefing Agent
- Exception Monitor
- Sales Order Fulfillment Guide
- Inventory Availability Watcher
- Master Data Cleanup Helper
- Vendor Follow-up Coordinator
The product also installs disabled schedules for orchestrator review, receivables scanning, overdue-customer review, availability monitoring, and vendor-delay review. Review each schedule's scope, delivery, tools, model, and approval boundary before activation.
Licensing
| Business Central environment | RapidClaw entitlement |
|---|---|
| Sandbox | Included without a paid RapidClaw for Business Central subscription. |
| Production | Requires an active annual entitlement for each production Business Central environment. |
Azure infrastructure and AI model usage are billed separately through the customer's Azure subscription. A production environment fails closed if its entitlement cannot be verified. Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft Agents licenses are not required.
Data ownership and reset
- Business Central remains the system of record for business data in the selected environment and company.
- RapidClaw's shared PostgreSQL services retain runtime policy, approvals, audit, memory, controls, and canonical deployment history.
- OAuth tokens and connector secrets remain in protected server-side and Azure Key Vault-backed storage.
- Reset removes deployment-owned Business Central authorization, context binding, the RCBC Teams package, Azure runtime resources, deployment state, and the customer application registration where applicable.
- Reset does not remove the Business Central company or its business records.
